OUR PASTOR
Rev. Arthur Mozon
Rev. Mozon is an awesome spiritual leader, dedicated to saving souls and giving back to the community. He is the Pastor of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Hillsboro, Texas. His journey to the ministry was via what some would call a non-traditional path. However, his journey prepared him to inspire the best in others, to always hold himself accountable and to embody the sentiment of “leading by example". He possesses the heart of a servant, the courage of a lion and is truly guided by the Holy Spirit.
Rev. Mozon was born and raised in Hillsboro,Tx, is married to Dot Mozon and they are the parents of 5 children. He is employed with Atmos Energy. Arthur accepted his calling and preached his first sermon June 6, 2000 at Mt. Moriah where he served as the Associate Pastor for four years. In 2004, Rev. Mozon became the Pastor of Mt. Moriah. Saving Souls and Serving Others is his passion!
Pastor Mozon is active in the jail ministry and the Ministers Alliance. He is also the founder of “Brothers On a Mission Blessing” aka the BOMBSquad. The BOMBSquad is a group of dedicated devoted men serving the community anyway they can.

Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church
Our purpose is to share the good news of Jesus Christ and encourage people to develop a personal faith based relationship with Him through love, prayer, praise and discipleship.
Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, giving back to the community and providing for the needs of God's people are key areas of focus for us at Mt. Moriah and serving others is a key tenant of our mission.
Our services are always joyful occasions, centered around and rooted in God's Word and everyone is welcome to come and worship with us. Whether it is one of our weekly services, Vacation Bible School, Church in the Park, Old School Sunday or an Anniversary Service, praising the Lord, saving souls and having a good time in the Lord is what you will experience at Mt. Moriah.
